Description If you're an experienced Senior Accountant with an eye for accuracy, Robert Half currently has a long-term contract / temporary opportunity for you to check out. Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Apply today!How you will make an impact- Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)- Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners- Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing- Ad-hoc projects as required- Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Knowledgeable of ERP systems- Self-starter and strong ethical standards- Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills- We are searching for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired- A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus- Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
