Description HYBRID WORK OPPORTUNITY Robert Half has partnered with a large healthcare company in the Baltimore area in search of a Senior Manager of Accounting & Reporting. This role has excellent growth potential - there is a proven track record of advancing people who shine!The Accounting Manager will inherit 2 direct reports and be responsible for adding to the team as necessary. The regular monthly duties include, but not limited to, overseeing the corporate month-end close, journal entry review, journal entry reconciliation. There will also be heavy involvement with lease accounting and fixed assets.Major responsibilities include:+ Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process by providing entries for non-recurring transactions and other complex accounting matters.+ Support the research and resolution of significant and / or non-routine transactions including but not limited to revenue recognition, leasing, variable interest entities, acquisitions and divestitures+ Perform accounting research on GAAP, FASB, and other reporting requirements for new accounting standards and business transactions.+ Work FP& A and other business partners in analyzing transactions, determining accounting treatment and impact on forecasts.
