Description We are currently assisting a construction company located in Falls Church, Virginia to find an Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for accounts payable and processing payroll for corporate and federal contract projects. The ideal candidate for the accountant position will have 2+ years of experience in full cycle accounts payable processing and payroll, construction/real estate industry experience and obtain a college degree in accounting.Responsibilities of the Accountant+ Process full cycle accounts payable+ Process bi-weekly payroll for internal and field employees+ Prepare payroll reports on a weekly basis+ Maintain certified payroll compliance standards+ Utilize Sage Timberline system for accounting and payroll operations.+ Assist with other duties as needed.
