Summary
The Management Analyst will work on functions related to change management, customer service governance, and performance analysis to improve internal customer service delivery throughout USAID. The selected individual must be able to work independently and as part of a team, share enthusiasm for improving Agency operations and customer service, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to tell a story.
This is a Management Analyst position based in USAID's Operations Performance Division in the Bureau for Management, Office of Management Policy, Budget, and Performance. The Operations Performance Division oversees USAID's central functions related to operational planning, performance, reporting, and internal customer service.
This position may be eligible for some telework with post-COVID office reentry.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of operations, survey, and performance data to identify trends, issues, and problems, using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and conducting analysis of management operations, procedures, and organizational structures, identifying problems or deficiencies, and recommending ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Support provision of technical assistance to USAID bureaus and offices to improve customer service performance.
- Support change management efforts for new and existing initiatives.
- Assist in the production and/or presentation of information and findings in a variety of formats (e.g., articles, papers, studies, briefings, other media, etc.).
- Draft communications to support customer service initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, focus groups, and other activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, public administration/policy, or a related field, plus 1+ years of specialized experience, assisting in:
- Applying analytical and evaluative methods to measure quality and efficiency to promote improvements to organizational operations
- Working with standards or metrics to analyze performance
- Preparing reports on data and trends
- Communicating with diverse technical and nontechnical audiences
- OR
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration/policy, or a related field, plus 3-5+ years of the aforementioned specialized experience
- Background check required
- The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain USAID Facilities Access.
