Description AP Specialist ~ Washington DC area $65k-75K. Hybrid schedule. Training provided. POSITIONMy client is searching for a dynamic AP Specialist to join their team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for a broad range of activities including AP processing, AR processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end close reconciliations. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to work across departments, and attention to detail.The ideal candidate will be ready to join a fast-paced environment and be excited to build, streamline and manage scalable processes to improve our financial operational efficiency in support of our continued growth.RESPONSIBILITIES. Accounts Payable- post invoices and process payments. Accounts Receivable- post invoices and process payments received. Accounting related to fixed asset purchases and depreciation. Communicate any system issues to the tech team. Assist team members with questions. Prepare account reconciliations and detail analysis . Requirements EDUCATIONS & REQUIREMENTS. BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desired. 3+ years of experience in AP and AR. Quickbooks Enterprise experience. Solid understanding of general accounting concepts related to AP/AR. Demonstrate organization & prioritization of multiple tasks. Demonstrate attention to detail. Must have problem solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; comfortable navigating large sets of data.
