Government of the District of ColumbiaOffice of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)Oracle Developer (Hybrid) $98,176.00 - $149,496.00The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an Oracle Developer (IT Specialist). This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The Information Technology Specialist works closely with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and other District government stakeholders in conducting work that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software.Duties include, but are not limited to: Analyzing and refining system requirements and translating requirements into applicationsInstalling, configuring, testing, and implementing modifications to Oracle ERP or EPM CloudTroubleshooting and working with vendors to resolve issues with system availability, functionality, and performancePerforming requirements analysis, application design and develops technical design documentsPlanning and coordinating the installation, configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of business applicationsDetermining output media/formats in order to exchange data between and within systemsImplementing revisions to IT systems to sustain appropriate system performancePerforming other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications; providing production support of enterprise applications; expertise in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of application software; and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
