Great move for a new grad!This client is a large and well-known Financial Services company located in the Washington, DC area seeking to add new Staff Accountant to their Accounting Department. This role will report to the Controller and processing full cycle accounts payable, employee expense reports, and receivables, assist in various general accounting duties for the organizations. This client is looking for a someone with a BS/BA degree, great interpersonal skills and a strong knowledge of debits and credits. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:* Process accounts payable invoices* Process and verify client invoice billing* Assisting in posting GL entries and coding of invoices, assist in month-end close and back-up for AP* Responsible for bank reconciliations and assist withmonthly cash flow reports* Process cash and credit card receipts* Verify and record third-party receivables* Prepare monthly accounts delinquency/aging report for Directors* Maintain and reconcile petty cash* Prepare reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and other general ledger accountsAll interested candidates in this Staff Accountant role and other full-time permanent opportunities please send your resume to Justin Decker via LinkedIn.
