Counter Sales

Job Summary/Company: The area's largest stocking distributor is growing! They have partnered with Sparks Group to find outstanding people who want to join a family owned and operated company. Seeking a friendly, outgoing Front Counter Sales Associate to join their Glen Burnie, MD location. Previous experience with industrial and hydraulic hosing or the industry is preferred as well as someone who's a team player looking to make this opportunity a career home. Responsibilities:

• Assist walk in customers with orders
• Will upsell with seasonal items
• Builds relationships with customers to grow existing accounts and draw on referrals
• Pulls product and restocks as needed on daily basis
• Performs daily inventory cycle counts
• Organized with mechanical aptitude
• Functions well within a fast paced environment
• Maintains overall cleanliness and upkeep of store
• Will take on additional duties as needed to support the store

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• 2 + years of either front counter experience or customer service
• Knowledge or background with either industrial or hydraulic hoses or the industry
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor
• Team player who is excited to join a family owned company
