Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Audit transportation freight bills
- Investigate billing discrepancies with carriers
- Prepare transportation cost estimates
- Maintain an open line of communication with additional departments
- Prioritize tasks in order of importance and deadlines
- Audit internal system transactions for accuracy
- Provide back-up support to co-workers as needed
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- High School diploma, college degree preferred
- Prior experience in Auditing/Accounting a plus
- Excellent customer service, organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Logistics/shipping/transportation experience preferred
- Working knowledge of shipping logistics and associated documentation, regulations, and terminology
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions, priorities, and volume of work.
