  • Serves as Program Manager for Information Technology/Cyber Management (CP34) and Cyber (CP71) career programs, Chief Information Officer/G- 6, the corporate information element of the Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Incumbent is responsible for stewarding critical enterprise and initiatives and driving the delivery of transformational change by providing leadership and direction to assigned programs.
  • Manage all aspects of a given program, from requirements gathering to implementation.
  • Performs analyses of a wide variety of issues that impacts policy, administration, career field training programs, property management, resource/financial management (processes, planning and development), workforce management, budget oversight.
  • Manages all major Cyber Security MDEP and planning activities, program and project operations and procedures, particularly those requiring review and coordination across organization's framework.
  • Represents the Directorate in meetings with other Headquarters elements leading cross-functional meetings and fosters teamwork; drives escalation and resolution of issues that impact the entire command.
  • Incumbent will function as the senior technical monitor for the technology and cybersecurity workforce requirements and administration.
  • Incumbent will require the individual to apply various networking concepts, protocols and network Cybersecurity methodologies.
  • Applies innovation, strategy, and oversight to implement and maintain high standards for executive actions in terms of workforce trends, maturation studies, resource requirements, timeliness, and completion of staff actions.


Conditions of Employment

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • Incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recertification within six months as outlined in DoD directive 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes: serving as Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) expert/authority in the overall IT/Cyber career programs life cycle in monitoring progress to ensure effective measures, milestones, goals and initiatives are set in place, in compliance and executed and taking appropriate course action to resolve critical problems/issues; developing, interpreting, implementing, and executing policies, standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures relating to IT/Cyber management, threats and vulnerabilities; managing operating budget and submissions, costs, schedules, financial management/funding requirements; and/or defining program controls, processes and reporting requirements within organization's framework.
