Duties

  • You will conceive and organize plans for Fleet/Force outreach to raise awareness of TechSolutions and understand the warfighters technology needs.
  • You will leverage personnel network solutions and Tech Solutions contacts to collaborate across the Navy and Marine Corps.
  • You will identify evaluation team members and coordinate proposal evaluation activities among ONR Project Officers.
  • You will monitor progress and plans for ongoing Tech Solutions projects by conducting frequent interaction, collaboration and coordination within the NR and DE performer to maintain awareness of technology development.
  • You will direct the development processes for Tech Solutions web presence.
  • You will lead warfighters through technology request process to ensure proposed concepts are clearly defined and provide technical recommendations.

  • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
  • An endorsement letter from your home command is required for current DON employees.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.


Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NP-03 pay band (GS-11/13 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Leveraging personal network and TechSolutions contacts to collaborate across the Navy; 2.) Identifying evaluation team members and coordinating proposal evaluations; 3.) Monitoring progress and plans for ongoing TechSolution projects; 4.) Coordinating and reviewing technology requests and making recommendations to the TechSolutions Director for new project development; AND 5.) Leading warfighters through the technology request process to ensure proposed concepts are clearly identified.
