Overview
AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARP's millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.
As the Digital Marketing Advisor in the Marketing Services Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel, digital marketing campaigns and program strategies, and achieving varied organizational objectives with a digital marketing budget of over $10 million. You will work to ensure marketing activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with overall organizational objectives. The position will manage the development and implementation of tactical plans to achieve goals. You will also track and assesses campaign results and adjust marketing strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions. In addition, you will collaborate with management to identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes and develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.

Responsibilities
- Oversees the development of annual digital marketing plans in alignment with AARP and AARP Services, Inc. (ASI) enterprise goals and objectives
- Ensures quality control of AARP brand, legal requirements and messaging in (ASI) digital marketing communications
- Assists line-of-business marketing leads in developing digital marketing plans for strategic Providers
- Responsible for continuous improvement of digital marketing efforts
- Communicates digital marketing performance and upcoming/future efforts
- Demonstrates professional cultural attributes and behaviors in all internal and external interactions
Qualifications
- Completion of Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications required
- Demonstrated leadership in planning and executing digital marketing efforts including:
- Search engine marketing (SEM)
- Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Display and native
- 3 rd party email
- Proven analytical skills; the ability to evaluate digital channel performance and recommend program shifts in order to meet and exceed marketing program objectives
- Experience with B2C and B2B business models preferred
- Client service and matrix management experience desired; agency experience a plus
- Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive successful marketing programs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- In-office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise
