Job Summary/Company: Our client, a local transportation company, is looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to provide recruiting expertise to fill a high volume of internal company positions. This person should be well-versed in full lifecycle recruiting and have experience recruiting for technical, trade, and professional positions.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Source qualified candidates via applications and job boards.
  • Engage with candidates through an initial phone screen and gauge qualifications.
  • Assist HR with new hire onboarding activities such as: training schedules, packets, personnel charts, reference checks and ensuring proper documentation is in place.
  • Strategize on compensation and salary negotiation practices with internal team members
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of technical recruiting experience or in the role of placing engineering/information technology professionals
  • Ability to handle 35 + positions
  • Experience working with unionized positions is preferred but not required
  • Immigration experience (Knowledge of H1B, EAD and Green Card) is beneficial but not required
