Senior Associate, Web and Digital Strategist

As a Web and Digital Platform Strategist on our Talent Marketing team, you'll help shape the future of our Careers websites and digital candidate experience. You'll help position Capital One as an employer of choice and help candidates understand #LifeatCapitalOne. Through engaging content and experiences, you'll entice prospective candidates to consider a career with us, help them engage and navigate the expansive offerings of our Careers website and blog.. And that's just today, you'll also shape the evolution of our digital strategy as we aim to be at the forefront of meeting candidates where they are through innovative products, platforms and channels.

In this role, you'll leverage Human Centered Design thinking to:
  • Define clear and actionable problem statements to help teams deliver results while displaying a comprehensive understanding of iterative website enhancements
  • Partner with our analysts and use google analytics to leverage research and insights to driving decision making
  • Obsess over UX/UI patterns and seek to create world class experiences
  • Showcase what #LifeAtCapitalOne is all across our digital channels
  • Deeply understand the candidate journey and key audience segments' site experience, helping candidates navigate through their journey.


And apply your Project Planning and Vendor Relations skills to
  • Liasoning between our digital vendors and internal stakeholders to plan end-to-end digital projects
  • Partner with internal business partners to understand hiring needs and candidate motivators, and balance delivery of content to meet both business and user needs.
  • Develop and maintain content requirements, page types, templates for new digital content, and adhere to web accessibility standards
  • Become deeply ingrained in our Digital Campaigns and deliver on the thematics, leveraging your deep understanding of our Website platforms and integrated systems
  • Learn our back end blog platform and find opportunities for enhancements and SEO
  • Inform recommendations for future enhancements and roadmapping, including Mobile/desktop experience, speed, organization of information
  • Audit and assess current state web content ecosystem, identifying strengths, weaknesses, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities. Develop short and long-term strategies to mitigate based on planned and/or new projects.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year ofexperience in financial services or other highly regulated industry
