Full Time

  • You will serve as a technical expert on spectrum management policies/initiatives; promulgates frequency utilization and frequency management policies and practices.
  • You will make decisions and plans of action to develop and implement new methods and techniques that fulfill operational and policy requirements and recommends changes.
  • You will utilize exceptional technical expertise in numerous projects, studies, and procedures covering a wide portion of all information management areas.
  • You will initiate, coordinate, implement and manage proposals, plans, concepts and projects that address a broad range of technical and operational objectives.
  • You will be responsible for preparation of engineering data for frequency, telecommunications, and other Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) matters.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Uses spectrum management and engineering tools, including interpreting the results obtained from the Completed Interservice Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) or the Army equivalent Electromagnetic Spectrum Managers Course to review and make recommendations regarding new policies and resolutions to potential issues.
  • Prepares and analyzes technical material on short notice for presentation for various stakeholders.
  • Analyzes technical data of communication systems and information retrieved from radio equipment and radio propagation of communication systems to initiate and direct actions at the National and International level.
  • Prepares engineering data for frequency, telecommunication and other communications electronic matters for participation in meetings or subcommittees at Nationals and International working groups' conferences and conventions.
