Westat is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the fast-paced growing corporate contracts unit to manage and oversee a portfolio of Westat's federally funded social and civilian contracts. You will support the full life cycle of contract management activities and lead a team of contracts staff.

This role is eligible for a remote/virtual or hybrid work arrangement.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of civilian contracts including but not limited to DOL, DOT, SSA, USDA.
• Lead a team of Contract Administrators and Specialists.
• Review and negotiate all types of agreements, including but not limited to NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Contracts, and Subcontracts.
• Provide contractual, business guidance and training to Westat's research staff.
• Collaborate and provide support to various internal departments including Accounting, Business Development, Finance and Legal.
• Perform risk-assessments and compliance reviews in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-award reviews of RFPs and contractual documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and solicitation requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of progressive experience in a Federal Government contracting and contract management environment, including 5 years managing civilian contracts.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Preferred Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in business, law or contract related discipline.
• Familiarity with GSA schedules and Best-In-Class contracting vehicles.
• Experience with Deltek products including Costpoint, Contracts and Purchasing Modules.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating several types of agreements.
• Knowledge of standard government contract compliance reviews and audits.
• Experience managing teams. In this role you will need to use your strong attention to detail, communication and writing skills, and your ability to collaborate.
