ABOUT THE ROLE

Capital One is looking for a talented Principal HR Coordinator to join our Workforce Development Team. The team is looking for a progressive, team-oriented colleague with a mindset and commitment to community service, collaboration and business impact.

In partnership with your team, you will support the operations of our Workforce Development programs, providing horizontal program support across a number of workstreams. You will be a champion for the program and a key driver in meeting our goals, while managing the day-to-day operations and engagement with program associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute program deliverables
  • Execute program communications and comms plan to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Project Manage demand planning cycle, including timelines and role trackers
  • Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, collecting agenda items and sending out follow-ups in a timely fashion
  • Facilitate Alumni Engagement programming
  • Maintain resources for and track CFAM support roles, including mentors and role navigators
  • Support CFAM storytelling, including gathering quotes and media for planned
  • Project Manage program-team touchpoints with program associates and People Leaders, including Office Hours and regular check-ins
  • Own CFAM mailbox, responding to questions promptly and with accuracy


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or military experience
  • At least 1 years of experience in human resources OR 1 years of experience in project management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Google G Suite applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and results oriented
  • Ability to meet objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities - ability to multi-task is a MUST
  • Strong results focus and ability to execute results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - proficient in communicating with a variety of stakeholders - prefer previous experience in writing communications to multiple audiences
  • Experience in event planning
  • Ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
