PEST CONTROL SPECIALIST (109440)

The University of Maryland, College Park seeks a well-qualified individual to manage the Facilities Management Pest Control Program for pest elimination from University facilities. Excellent customer service skills required and must have the ability to interact courteously with University faculty, staff, and students.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED and five years of experience performing a pest control program for an interior or exterior environment. Candidates must possess Maryland Pesticide Application Certification or the ability to become certified within 6 months. This is a Condition of Employment. Candidate must possess and maintain valid MD Class C driver’s license or equivalent, with fewer than six (6) points. Position is that of an Essential Employee, subject to 24-hour day, 7-day week span of operation.
