Job Summary:
Westat is seeking data collection managers to support day-to-day data collection activities involving a public website, help desk support, technical documentation, and other data collection related tasks. The position requires assisting the overall coordination with other teams, and participating in regular meetings with the technical team. 

Flexibility with partial and remote work arrangements. 

Job Responsibilities:
•    Oversight of data collection activities and coordination with staff.
•    Assisting the help desk staff respond to questions
•    Monitoring data collection, extracting data collection reports, and professionally conveying and communicating technical issues to both respondents and the client.

Basic qualification:
•    A Bachelor's degree.
•    At least 2 years of customer service and/or technical assistance related experience.

Minimum qualifications:
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.  
•    Ability to navigate web- based software systems.
•    Ability to review and resolve complex technical and data file issues. 
•    Organizational skills, high degree of accuracy in work and attention to detail.
•    Technical understanding of data file uploads and layouts.
•    Prior experience supporting help desk activities.
•    Ability to manage multiple staff and tasks throughout the day. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work in a team environment, often at a fast pace.  
•    Ability to develop written protocols and processes. 
•    Be available to work 40 hours per week, flexible hours are an option. 

Preferred qualifications:
•    Prior experience supporting data collections and help desk operations.
