Biochemistry Visiting Faculty Teaching Position

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Services invites applications for a visiting faculty position to be filled at a rank and salary (minimum $70,000) commensurate to the applicant’s experience.

Responsibilities: To teach undergraduate students introductory medical biochemistry and a laboratory course in protein biochemistry. To promote active learning, it is expected that appropriate modes of educational delivery will include lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, suitable projects, and examinations.

Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in Biochemistry or related field from an accredited institution and teaching experience in Biochemistry is required. Applicant must demonstrate classroom instructional excellence, good teaching practices, a strong teaching philosophy, and provide recent teaching evaluations.
