Duties

The candidate for this position will:

Support and perform one or more functions of the Policy and Compliance Division (PCD) by assisting senior specialists in Section 508; IT Acquisitions and IT Audits coordination.

You will assist the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and/or Contract Monitor in coordination and communications related to contracts. Assist in developing statement of work, task orders and other procurement artifacts as required. Support generating required contract reports.

Assist in the preparation of Information Technology Communications including presentations, documents, and spreadsheets utilizing a variety of automated tools.

Qualifications

All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date.

Specialized Experience-Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the private sector assisting with a variety of IT governance disciplines such as IT processes, Governance Boards, and IT Acquisitions. Examples may include: ensuring that the Contracting and other IT governance related processes (Section 508; Risk Management; and IT Audits), and reporting are in place and supported adequately as required by the customer; supporting governance reporting such as Monthly IT Contracts and Monthly IT Risks Management to communicate the status of IT Contracts and IT Risk; reviewing existing processes and procedures ensuring compliance with current mandates.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position.

Education

Graduate or Undergraduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
