Job Summary:
Westat is seeking research assistants to join a multidisciplinary team of researchers and program evaluators focused on behavioral health research projects. In this role, you will assist in implementing general project management tasks, executing study plans and data collection plans, overseeing and participating in data collection and evaluations, contributing to the development of IT resources such as data collection platforms and dashboards, testing systems, and contributing to project reports and publications.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Supports all stages of research from study design through data collection and management, analysis, and reporting.
•    Assist with developing data collection plans and the associated instruments and materials.
•    Assist with data collection efforts which may involve administering surveys, interviews, site visits, observation protocols, and/or acquiring dministrative data.
•    Analyzes data, including both qualitative and quantitative data.
•    Assist with producing reports and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
•    Participates in presentations at conferences and other meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A Bachelor's degree in social sciences or public health field.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
•    Experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce visually-appealing reports, tables, graphs, and presentation slides.
•    Experience with social media.
