Capital One's Campus Programs and Job Family Learning team is at the forefront of developing future leaders. This role supports the Product Development Program (PDP), a rotational program for early and emerging product managers. We aspire to provide a best-in-class experience for program associates and business partners across the enterprise. We are a passionate and entrepreneurial team that embraces bold ideas, fosters collaboration, challenges the status quo, and inspires personal growth along the way. If you are excited about helping others learn and building engaging experiences for our college-hires, you may be a fit for our team!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience in leading projects in a well-managed way. You should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for team-players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in some ambiguity, and have excellent communication skills.

We are looking for an individual to help drive the early career strategy within our Product Manager organization. In this role you will create a dynamic best-in-class experience for program associates, internal clients, stakeholders, and our own team. Effective organization, communication, customer focus, influencing, and relationship building skills will ensure success in this role.

Core responsibilities will vary but may include:
  • Invest in and manage relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners, associates, managers, and other stakeholders across a range of levels, business functions on planning headcount demand, allocating and rotating talent across the enterprise, addressing associate concerns, and more.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize roles for PDP associates, select and train managers, align associates to roles of interest, and support associates' transitions to new roles.
  • Provide input on overall learning and development roadmap for associates, in partnership with the broader team, to ensure the curriculum is preparing associates for success as product managers.
  • Support performance management cycles and activities for program associates in conjunction with HR business partners by managing the education, communications, calibration support, and ongoing talent development.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of associate events, such as trainings, networking sessions, or teambuilding events.
  • Contribute to the team's goals through a variety of other program management functions, which may include communications support, meeting or event facilitation, assessment data analysis, and more.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience with project/process management or program management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in human resources, employee development or engagement, consulting or a combination
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with event management
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
  • Experience using Google Suite
