Qualification requirements in this vacancy announcement are based on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook, which contains federal qualifications available on the OPM's website located at: https//www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/ .
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify for the GS-14 grade level you must have one full year of specialized experience. You must possess 52 weeks of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13. Specialized experience

Background Investigation: This position is designated as Non-sensitive/Low Risk and requires that a background investigation be conducted and favorably adjudicated in order to establish security eligibility.
Please note this position is being filled under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Employees will be hired under ARPA's Hiring Authority as a Schedule A employee under the Excepted Service for a period not-to-exceed two (2) years.
The salary is contingent upon the official duty location and will be determined based on individual selections.

- Ensure definitions and context for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are clearly defined and integrated within EDA's internal strategic learning practices and culture that folds into how the agency supports underserved communities.
- Advise, revise and/or update the design and development of information and communications technologies to include, EDA's website, social media pages, outreach campaigns, job descriptions and internal documents to ensure we use non-discriminatory language and ensure accessibility for peoples with disabilities.
- Work closely with the EDA's Communities of Practices and Stakeholders to maintain working knowledge of the evolving needs and concerns of diverse grantees and communities.
- Collaborate with EDA's Communities of Practices and Stakeholders to share resources and adopt best practices.
- Ensure all programs and initiatives are implemented in a legally compliant manner, protecting EDA from unintended liability.
