Our culture is focused on bold vision, launching the simplest initial solution to learn, then either failing or scaling fast.The Coordinator, Marketing Events is responsible for assisting with the planning of miscellaneous events and supporting the Head of Digital Marketing on all other aspects related to event planning including coordinating travel, registration, and database management, assisting with Hotel contracts and/or local support contracts and communication/creative pieces. This position will also support the team as primary administrative support as time is available and needs arise.About the RoleCollaborate with Director and Program Managers to determine event support as needed per program.Assist with site specific preparations needs, including working with vendors to request equipment or services needed as outlined by the Head of Digital Marketing to ensure requirements are met.Manage various aspects of pre-event logistics (eg registration, transportation, and accommodations, room list).Daily updates, run-of-show and briefing to sales team.Manage collateral both digital and on-site.Partner with Program Managers and Director to coordinate and finalize program agendas and work on special events held locally.Assist team to track event or meeting expenses and savings on a timely basis including the re-classing of event expenses to the proper cost centers.Manage meetings or events data simultaneously while maintaining the highest level of internal customer satisfaction and integrity.Collaborate with internal resources to coordinate, produce, and distribute promotional or event materials.Host remote events and be on-site during conferencesAssist Marketing & Operations with booth assignments, schedules, set-up/break-down and arrival/departure meetings.RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.Overall, 2-3 years of related work experience or more.1+ years in Event Coordination, Trade Show Coordination - both in person and virtual eventsComfortable using new mobile technologies and apps, in particular working with Lead Generation AppsAbility to maintain an incredibly high degree of attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while successfully managing multiple tasks.Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work, influence, problem solve, and engage with all levels of the organization.Assertive, comfort with negotiating with on-site conference personnel as needed.High energy personality with professional presentation.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Must be able to travel to events which are on average 2-3 times a month across USA.Benefits and Perks100% permanent remote work in the United States Medical / dental / vision, AD&D, and Life Insurance Paid Time Offer (PTO) and company paid holidays Health Saving Account (HSA) Long Term Disability and Short-Term Disability 401(k) matching program Discounted auto, home, and pet insurance Retirement savings plan rollovers Banking services Military leave Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Regular pay for funeral/memorial service observance Discounts on Office Depot/Microsoft/Apple products and services Opportunity for professional growth and career advancement The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this classification and are not intended to be a complete list of all required responsibilities and skills.
