Principal Coordinator, ADP & AIP Programs

The Analyst Development Program / Analyst Intern Program team builds Capital One's pipeline of top Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Strategy associate talent by delivering a program that communicates our innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers. We are looking for an exceptional teammate to own the planning and logistics of our signature events along with engagement strategy for the ADP & AIP. The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, laser customer focus, and meticulous attention to detail.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key program stakeholders to help execute signature ADP & AIP Events in both virtual and future in-person capacity (Onboarding, Experience Weeks, Graduation, etc.) by leading event and logistics support services (fun events, catering, swag, event app, hotel room blocks, etc.) in accordance with Capital One's support process, standards and systems
  • Own team budget, which includes tracking, forecasting and auditing information on a cadenced basis
  • Partner with our ADP Council to provide best practices & oversight w/ event planning & budget management
  • Lead the development and implementation of engagement strategies to help build a community that leads to retention of top talent and strengthens Capital One's brand
  • Handle intake for escalated associated issues and manage upkeep of issue tracker
  • Help management identify and implement process improvements that enhance the associate experience and/or operational efficiency
  • Lead vendor management processes including handling Coupa requisitions & approvals, acting as the team's ESM liaison, and assisting with management of third party vendor relationships
  • Manage some team communications, including drafting and editing information to be distributed through Team calendar, Google Site, mailbox, newsletter and Slack
  • Manage inbox and calendar invites for full-time and intern program
  • Maintain upkeep of ADP/AIP Google Drive and Google Sites spaces including deckware, rosters, & access
  • Engage with leaders across the company to ensure positive experience for the program's associates
  • Build and own relationships with internal clients, stakeholders and external vendors


Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Event & Logistics Management or at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a combination of both



Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Event Management or at least 2 years of experience in Recruiting or at least 2 years of experience Human Resources or at least 2 years of experience in Marketing or a combination of any of the above
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with event management
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
  • Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
  • Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the program
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
