Manager, Technical Delivery Lead (Remote-Eligible)

A Technical Delivery Lead (TDL) is a team member with technical and organizational skills to lead the implementation of network related initiatives across multiple platforms and technologies. A TDL understands network technology and is responsible for managing delivery across multiple infrastructure initiatives. A TDL interfaces and coordinates with various technical and non-technical teams to include engineering, operations, business partners, and third-party resources to drive solutions from concept to implementation. Understanding Agile Methodologies, Change Management, SDLC, Release Management, and Project Management tools and processes are common skills in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead successful implementations of network solutions, working in close collaboration with stakeholders and engineering resources
  • Ensure solutions are implemented using optimal methods, strategies and processes within time and budget guidelines
  • Identify technical, performance, and other issues and proactively communicate with stakeholders about best practices
  • Work closely with engineering teams to manage and resolve technical issues
  • Serve as a central point of contact across assigned network implementations:
    • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, and escalation.
    • Deliver event-related communications and status updates.

  • Provide resource estimates for specific network implementation work items
  • Serves as team SME for Technology Change Management process (internal and external)
  • Understand and navigate the Capital One processes and reflect the process in the scope of work
  • Participate in technical implementation using agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Plan and coordinate release events and prepare a minute-by-minute (MBM) plan, host Go/No Go decision meetings
  • Coordinate testing plans and resourcing.
  • Review and evaluate post-event success and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Capture and document lessons learned, refer to lessons learned for new event planning

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of Agile or project management experience
  • At least 4 years of experience working with ITIL processes trouble ticket management, change ticket processing and high level asset configuration tracking


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of Agile or project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with ITIL processes
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical network projects
  • ScrumAlliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • SAFe certified or experience (or other scaled agile frameworks)
