The salary for this position is $115k-$130k.

The Salesforce Developer - Quality Analyst (QA) will provide expertise to a cross-functional Agile Development Team developing custom objects, page layouts, and record-types to distinguish between various requirements. The Salesforce Developer - Quality Analyst (QA) will be responsible for participating in requirement review sessions and documenting test scenarios.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines amid shifting priorities, working both independently and with the Agile Development Team and other internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Support multiple projects or modules, meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment to deliver customer-driven solutions following agile methodologies and development practices.
  • Participate in requirement review sessions and estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Document test scenarios to validate test coverage against mission-specific requirements.
  • Develop test metrics that are backed up by data and report progress on test development and executions to ensure release schedule expectations and deliveries are completed in line with the government's mission requirements and schedule.
  • Manage day-to-day test execution by troubleshooting and assisting in the resolution of quality and performance development issues.
  • Design and execute test cases and strategy for manual, functional, integration, and regression test cases and log, track, and verify the resolution of defects.
  • Work with Salesforce Architect to design load testing and ensure the platform capability accounts for volume and scale.
  • Translate technical concepts and issues clearly in a way all stakeholders understand.
  • Review MAT documentation for technical content, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Triage and drive bug resolution with the appropriate developer or development team.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of industry experience in a development role with SFDC or CRM platform/application experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or other related discipline is preferred
  • 3+ years of manual testing experience, including in-depth experience in SDLC, Agile, test plan creation, requirements analysis, test case design, and test execution best practices
  • Experience in SQL, scripting, and data manipulation
  • Understanding of data formats, like XML, CSV, and JSON
  • Understanding of typical integration technologies, like HTTP, JMS, JDBC, REST, and SOAP
  • Experience coordinating personnel workload and managing release schedule deadlines in accordance with established release schedules
  • This position requires a favorable Tier-1 Background Controlled Unclassified Information investigation (CUI - formerly FOUO) access (ADP-III, IT-3, Tier 1 investigation) and general user network permissions with the potential of obtaining a secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a remote environment within the established core hours (based on the eastern time zone)
  • Understands QA methodologies, and best practices to design and develop test suites, test plans, and test scripts
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce out-of-box features and Salesforce.com best practices
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with the DevOps Lifecycle and experience coordinating Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of work products and demos with key program stakeholders
  • Experience using Salesforce Platform tools (e.g., Data Loader, Visual Source Code, Workbench); Integration of DocuSign environments is helpful but not required
  • Experience using version control tools/products (e.g., Git or Bitbucket, etc.) and coordinating and executing code releases across environments (e.g., Sandbox, Stage, Production)
  • Familiarity in a complex enterprise application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes
