Inventory Control Supervisor II

Job Description :

• Provide operational support to inbound and outbound operations and other Supervisory staff.
• Maintain inventory integrity by reviewing and reconciliation of EXE/inventory reports to ensure appropriate inventory activities are performed.
• Oversee the cycle counting process and inventory administrative functions.
• Ensure slotting of new merchandise meets product specifications, storage, and SQF requirements. Involves resolving any product data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with Store Operations, Procurement, and Transportation to expedite and process product transfers.
• Assist with any inquiries from internal and external procurement groups.
• Handle product recalls in accordance to Ahold policies and procedures.
• Review assigned vendor cases from AFS to approve or deny payment.
• Manage a diverse team of hourly and union associates including scheduling, training, job performance, and performance appraisals.
• Promote safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and management

Essential Skills

Essential Skills :

• Applicant must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and possess the utmost attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
• Warehouse Management System (EXE) experience required

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of related work experience in a union environment.
