Overview:Why We Need Your Talents:The Benefits Manager reports directly to the VP of Human Resources. This position has full responsibility and management of Compensation, Health and Wellness Benefits, 401k and Leave Programs. This role will lead strategic planning, budgeting, design, analysis, modification, administration, communication and management of all covered benefits, retirement and leave programs. This includes supporting the current HR applications, integrations, processes, projects, and the training and communications programs for HR Staff and Live managers and staff. Works with management and internal groups to develop processes and procedures for maintenance of HR Compensation and Benefits. Analyzes reports to identify business problems and/or support business processes. Responsible for protecting employee confidential data. Primary responsibility for compensation and benefits planning, analysis and administration.Prior to beginning employment, all new hires must provide documentation of their final doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccination (J&J is a single dose only). Casino will make reasonable accommodations for a disability or a sincerely-held religious beliefs.https://www.vaccines.gov/search/Responsibilities:Where You'll Make an Impact:Implement conversion of Kronos Workforce Central to Kronos Workforce Ready, a SAS product.Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.Creates and maintains documents for process flow, procedures and training purposes.Implement procedures for auditing and maintaining organizational hierarchy and other elements that impact the workflow. Leads efforts to eliminate paper.Implements manager and employee self-service in conjunction with IT and Payroll teams.Support company-wide compensation processes.Uploads pay increase data from CFO to ensure pay data integrity.Manages the comparison of LC & H pay data with Casino Survey, Wage Watch, and Wage Access surveys.Provides analysis of LC & H pay in comparison to market data for executives to make decisions about increasing starting pay and rate ranges.Partner with Payroll Manager on custom interfaces, reports or special projects.Oversee all benefit programs including health, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance.Participates in benefit design projects with benefits broker.Plan Administrator for 401(k) Plan such as administer nondiscrimination testing, 5500s and annual 401(k) plan audit.Responsible for developing resolutions to automate and consolidate many of the HR Benefits Coordinator tasks.Provide excellent customer service to vendors and Live team members.Serve as backup to conduct Benefits orientation for new hires.LOA/FMLA/Personal leave administration.Partner with Risk Management on Workers Compensation process along with Clinic PA.Responsible for ACA management and administration.Interpret related policies and procedures and monitor compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.Process and ensure necessary compliance mailings are delivered to team members based on government deadlines.Establish and coordinate daily relationships with third party administrators, vendors and internal staff, including Payroll and Operations.Assist with staff member benefits questions and resolve benefits-related issues.Resolve benefits-related issues regarding enrollment, coverage, claims and termination.Oversee benefits orientation and the annual open enrollment process.Manage, partner with broker to reconcile monthly benefit invoices.Manage/oversee Cerner Wellness Center and company Wellness program.Supervises one Benefits Coordinator. Provide direction to staff engaged in developing reportAnalytical deliverables, and data entry.And other duties assigned.Qualifications:Skills to Help You Succeed:Ability to speak, read, write and understand basic instructions in English.Ability to perform addition and subtraction, at a minimumAbility to make change from sales.Experience and knowledge of a suite of Kronos products and application.Experience with and/or interest in benefits management.Second language is a plus.Working knowledge of FMLA, ACA, ERISA, ADA, COBRA, and Federal & State labor laws.Experience working as part of a human resources team.Experience supervising support staff.Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to independently initiate and execute projects with a strong attention to detail and deadlinesProven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challengesStrong technology aptitude with excellent MS Office suite skillsAble to work well with diverse groups and willingness to assist where needed.Excellent computer skills. Requires intermediate to advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint. Know how to do pivot tables and vlookups, a must.Ability to handle a heavy workload, prioritize work and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently, initiate and identify solutions.Requires ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Must-Haves:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.Minimum of eight (8) years' experience working with Benefit design and administration of programs and policies.Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Physical Requirements:Ability and willingness to work an irregular and extended work schedule.
