Principal Associate- Process Manager

As a Process Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the Card Loss Estimation Team. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company. We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment and in delivering excellence to our customers in every interaction. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to communicate and influence effectively, drive flawless execution, and have the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

The responsibilities of Process Managers include:
  • Collaborate with various teams (such as our business analysts, our agile delivery teams, our governance and compliance partners, and customer stakeholders) to develop and execute effective, efficient and controlled processes
  • Manage delivery of business processes by defining and implementing process improvement agendas, driving efficiencies, and using data to create better experiences for our customers
  • Use a variety of techniques and tools to define, manage and improve processes, like Visual Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Lean, and Six Sigma
  • Maintain knowledge of governance requirements and operational procedures, and ensure documentation is relevant and updated
  • Develop and perform quality assurance routines, controls, and monitoring to measure and analyze process performance on existing processes
  • Develop and measure process key performance indicators, including establishing objectives and key results to drive process improvements and solve customer problems
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of Process or Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's / MBA Degree
  • At least 5 years of Process or Project Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  • Work Experience achieving results
