Position Description

The Institute currently seeks a Senior Research Analyst to focus on economic research and report production. The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting data analysis, contributing to reports on cross-emerging market issues, and assisting with special projects. They will support senior staff writing macroeconomic analytical reports on selected emerging market countries based on information gathered through membership contacts and published statistical and information sources. They will also be expected to maintain databases for global aggregates, maintain and check databases for consistency, address members' data needs, provide assistance in the planning and implementation of events, and assist in the preparation and contribute to drafts to country economic reports and special studies.

IIF is pleased to provide its staff with a hybrid work environment: staff members are required to work in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays but have the option of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Requirements

Applicants should have preferably a master's degree in economics with strong writing skills. Applicants with bachelor's degree in economics and 3-5 years of related work experience, including experience in writing economic reports and data management, will also be considered.
