Duties

  • Conducts specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 persons (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
  • Monitors applicants or students to detect cheating and takes appropriate action to remove violators from the session. Maintains control of the test site providing student test session control and test security.
  • Conducts quality control checks to ensure testing material is properly completed, and makes corrections as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining enlistment and student test materials and mobile computing devices at the test site. Ensures storage, use, and safeguarding of testing materials and equipment meets security guidelines outlined in applicable regulations).
  • Coordinates with MEPS personnel to facilitate advance coordination with school officials to assure facilities offer an adequate testing environment and allow for appropriate test room control and test security measures.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Employee must possess a valid driver?s license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.
  • Incumbent must complete and receive a favorable determination from required background checks.
  • This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.


Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: 1) providing customer service to a variety of individuals; 2) utilizes a variety of office automation resources to complete tasks; and 3) properly maintains work materials.

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.

Education
