Tech Transformation Delivery Manager(Remote Eligible)

As a Tech Transformation Delivery Manager on the Enterprise Portfolio Delivery team within Capital One's Chief of Staff and Associate Experience Technology organization. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's technology platforms. You will take on important and exciting responsibilities from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. You will also be challenged to excel alongside the brightest talent in the industry and be rewarded for your achievements.

This role will work on our Tech Transformation team, playing a key role in the oversight, governance, and management of our most important Tech initiatives across the company. This program helps to ensure the successful delivery of the most critical parts of our overall tech strategy. This is a pivotal role managing our engagement with the other divisions in Capital One Technology, and ensuring that these divisions deliver on the goals of the Tech Transformation program.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with technology executives, delivery leaders, and their teams to create a strategic vision and advance our culture of successful delivery
  • Identify and facilitate trade-off discussions amid conflicting priorities
  • Support issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation to leadership groups.
  • Apply advanced facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-program and departmental planning, collaboration, and coordination.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and influence adoption of Agile delivery practices and norms (can have difficult and constructive conversations and push back when needed).
  • Improve our ability to deliver key outcomes and continuously improve our performance on key delivery metrics
  • Celebrate individual and team successes with appropriate recognition and rewards.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience leading technology delivery projects
  • At least 2 years of experience collaborating with teams following an Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years as a Scrum Master or an Agile project manager for a software development team
  • 3+ years of strategy development experience in an Agile environment
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience
