Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a Project Analysis, Analyst (Project Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location.
Key Duties
- Performs as contract monitor for multiple contracts to include, but not limited to: budgeting, funding execution, document management, and financial analyses. Provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources, making recommendations for improving operations and reporting
- Coordinate with the Sector VP, Contracts, Procurement, Accounting and Project/Program management on a daily basis.
- Monitor projects and report expenditure levels approaching 75%. Ensure projects do not exceed the funded amount.
- Submits and tracks material and travel commitments for COR approval
- Prepares financial documentation and slides as well as attends Project/Program kick-off and financial meetings
- Track and manages contractual commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Track program/project status and schedules, interpret data and apply policies and procedures for financial planning.
- Assist Project/Program managers with spend plan updates
- Coordinates with government and contracted financial analyst on contract actions involving Funding
- Prepare/Review bi-weekly Financial Status Reports, Financial Matrices, Invoices, Segregation of Cost and other correspondence as required
- Mentor s junior level project analyst
Required Qualifications
- 4 years' experience in financial analysis and reporting of government contracts.
- 2 years' experience using Deltek Costpoint and Excel
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination
