Summary

Venturi, LLC has a challenging career opportunity for a Junior Ground Test Requirements Engineer who will work as a dedicated team player on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract supporting Missile Defense Agency.

Responsibilities
  • Participate on a team of architecture analysts, assigning analysis tasks and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer
  • Assess MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
  • Support modeling and simulation efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Support analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and provide reviews of analysis products
  • Support initial system requirements development for MDA facilities by collaborating with various weapon system stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM Field with 3+ years experience
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Understanding of the current MDS architecture
  • Active secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Desired Skills:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • MATLAB coding
