Principal Associate Process Management, Analytics and Innovation

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Principal Associate to join Audit HQ to provide oversight of team operations and help optimize processes across the functions in Analytics and Innovation (A&I). A&I is an internal support team that brings data and technology to the heart of Audit by providing high value assurance through a more data-powered and technology-enabled Audit function.

The A&I team is comprised of Data Analysts and Data Scientists providing audit delivery support and developing audit analytical solutions, a Product organization that partners with our Tech Engineering and Design team to create products and features for our Auditors, and Business Analysts who support reporting for management and external stakeholders (i.e., Audit Committee, Regulatory agencies, etc.).

General Responsibilities:
  • Oversee team governance structure and operating model including resource capacity planning, Audit Team interaction model, data tool and product prioritization
  • Facilitate audit annual planning activities for A/I, as well as tracking and monitoring of audit delivery needs for A/I (i.e., Audits, MRAs, Issues)
  • Establish and monitor A/I team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and other operational metrics
  • Support Audit HQ COO in managing the A/I team people changes including opening new roles, supporting employee departures, and facilitating related communications
  • Source and manage external firm arrangements (i.e., staff augmentation needs, MSA and SOW management)
  • Support A/I collaboration efforts across Audit HQ and the department including in transformation workstreams
  • Support implementation of the Data Advanced Testing Approach and ongoing program support
  • Coordinate communications and training provided by A/I
  • Collaborating with various Audit HQ Leaders, LOB Audit teams, and support partners on various cross functional efforts on behalf of A/I
  • Coordinating of activities to promote employee engagement, retention and morale across A/I teams
  • Facilitate team meetings and agile ceremonies
  • Support product team governance including facilitating communication and sharing of resources between stakeholder groups, partner with PdM, training, COOs, and other key stakeholders for integrated delivery, and monitor and report product performance


The person will:
  • Exhibit a proven track record of process management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Adapt to change, embrace bold ideas, and be intellectually curious.
  • Leverage the power of data analytics and further your technical skills to build a rich understanding of data, innovation, and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrate learning agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and openness to new initiatives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Process Management, Risk Management, Product Management, or a combination


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of professional work experience
  • 3+ years experience in auditing, data analytics compliance, or a combination
  • Proficient in MS Office or Google Suite
  • Experience planning ahead and managing time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Excellent organizational skills
