Summary

The Aviation Systems Integrator will assist in managing the scheduling, installation,

evaluation, and fielding of proposed HUMS systems on target aircraft and report

findings.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with leads and developers to evaluate proposed systems and software
  • Evaluate logical and physical models, design, and source to target mapping and perform comparisons of proposed systems
  • Promote understanding across the team of data quality concepts and methods
  • Advise on alternative and the implications of new or revised data processing systems
  • Work with team leads, integrators, and vendors, to communicate business and
  • technical requirements clearly and effectively
  • Travel up to 50% of the time as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required OR
  • High school diploma or GED and 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong background in rotary-wing aviation maintenance, including HUMS or Avionics specialties
  • Valid driver's license is required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to train end-users on frequently asked technical issues
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Skilled in the integration of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products and legacy Department of Defense (DoD) systems as part of an integrated information system, including the organization and execution of large scale test and evaluation events
  • Must be well organized
  • Must be an effective communicator at multiple levels with the ability to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees
  • Ability to provide technical assistance in support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor
