Summary

The AF NTI Analyst will provide support to the AF NTI Program to significantly improve the responsiveness of the National Intelligence Community (IC) to the needs of Air and Space Component organizations (e.g., Component Numbered Air Forces [CNAF], Air and Space Operations Centers [AOC], and Air Force Targeting Center [AFTC]) at the operational and tactical levels of war.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) for enterprise-wide AF NTI operational processes and procedures.
  • Support AF NTI strategic planning and the development of Concepts of Operation(CONOPS), Concepts of Employment (CONEMPS) and other associated planning documents. This effort shall include, but is not limited to, the development of a Multi[1]discipline Intelligence (Multi-INT) analysis and fusion capability and new and evolving support to warfighters.
  • Support HQ 16 AF and subordinate Wing's staff actions to coordinate AF NTI issues with host directorates, subordinate units, and external organizations. This effort shall include but is not limited to, reviewing and providing recommendations on operational issues and documents, and developing Staff Summary Sheets (SSS), bullet background papers (BBP) and briefing materials.
  • Support HQ 16 AF and subordinate Wing's responses to AF NTI element requests for program support. This effort shall include but is not limited to, SME advice regarding operational and training issues.
  • Perform research and provide input to the development, implementation, and oversight of AF NTI policy and guidance.
  • Provide support in the performance of maintenance, ongoing development, and execution of a unit-specific specific MCP for the purpose of improving and documenting standardized operational processes and procedures. Integrate AF NTI Program Management Office (PMO) approved field element inputs and provide updated MCP to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Review and update when necessary on a monthly basis.
  • Provide support in the performance of maintenance, ongoing development, and execution of an existing MTP for the purpose of training AF NTI personnel operational processes and procedures.
  • Integrate AF NTI PMO approved field element inputs and provide updated MTP to the COR. Review and update when necessary on a monthly basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4+ years of experience required as a cryptologic/intelligence analyst, linguist, or collector and expertise in the following subject areas:
  • Joint and combined Air and Space Operations Centers processes
  • Aerospace operations planning and associated documents, like Air Tasking Orders (ATO) and Special Instructions (SPINS)
  • National intelligence collection platforms and processes
  • Airborne and other tactical intelligence collection platforms and processes
  • Cryptologic collection, dissemination, and retrieval systems, and databases and methods
  • SIGINT collection management processes and strategies and a familiarity with other intelligence disciplines collection management processes and strategies
  • United States Signals Intelligence Directives (USSID) and cryptologic policies and a familiarity with other AF and DoD Intelligence directives and policies
  • Classification manuals/guidelines and Information Sanitization processes
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Practical/working knowledge of the following:
  • NSANet, JWICS, and SIPRNet
  • Chat tools (e.g., Pidgin, ChatSurfer, and Jabber)
  • Computer-based tools (e.g., Test Flight, NSRP, PULSE, METRICKS, DEFSMAC/DAAR, and Grapevine)
  • Windows applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Internet Explorer)
  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications
  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time-related constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees
  • Required to adhere to Chenega Corporation mandate that all employees must be fully vaccinated to COVID-19 by December 8, 2021
