The S huttle Bus Driver ensures safe trips for passengers at Schriever Space Force Base.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe trips to and from the secure area and other buildings at Schriever Space Force Base.
- Assemble or install equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting.
- Perform simple or routine tasks or tests, like operating and adjusting simple test equipment, operating vehicles, handling equipment, and maintaining various records.
- Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data, like tests, drawings, inventory records, and maintenance records, etc.
- Perform computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas, plotting data, and draw simple curves and graphs.
- Conduct maintenance operations.
- Function independently to resolve problems, advising staff members to meet established objectives.
- Perform maintenance and other logistics functions on fielded systems.
- Maintain inventory, prepares order quantities, and tracks resupply activities.
- Perform fleet planning, operation, and maintenance.
- Prepare materials for shipping.
- Operate test and diagnostic equipment.
- Operate handling equipment.
- Operate/drive various vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Valid driver's license
- CDL required
- Public trust and NACI required
- The individual hired for this position must be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and must show evidence of vaccination upon hire.
