Requirements Manager

Summary

Venturi, LLC, a, Chenega company, has a challenging career opportunity for a Requirements Manager who will play an important role supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will perform duties of a Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) Requirements Manager with experience writing, coordinating, and updating requirements within the DOORS database.

Responsibilities

• Assist stakeholder by managing the requirements development process within the DOORS database
  
• Perform requirements development and analysis
  
• Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge
  
• Provide independent technical and programmatic assessment
  
• Provide risk analysis and mitigation development
  
• Present technical information to MDA Leadership at various levels
  
• Collaborate across MDA organizations
  

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• MS/MA with 12+ years of relevant experience or BS/BA with 20+ years experience
  
• Proficient with requirements development processes and DOORS database management
  
• Active DoD secret clearance
  
• The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
  

Desired Skills:

• Create bi-directional traces in DOORS
  
• Build and export trace analysis and trace reports
  
• Knowledge of DOORS eXtension Language (DXL)
  
• Working knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
  
• Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
  
• Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts
