Overview

The primary function of the Loan Servicing Administrator 4 role is to manage homeowner's insurance policies on all escrowed and non-escrowed mortgage loans. This role also includes the ability to handle standard mortgage servicing questions from internal and external members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain homeowner's insurance policies for all escrowed and non-escrowed accounts to include disbursing policy premiums and remitting for payment as well as managing policy updates and cancellation notices
  • Maintain flood insurance policies for all mortgage loans listed in a flood zone
  • Maintain all loss draft insurance claims per Fannie Mae investor guidelines
  • Research and resolve mortgage loan discrepancies
  • Handle member requests pertaining to mortgage loans via email, mail or phone
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

Qualifications

  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of Mortgage Servicing experience
  • Experience working in a financial institution in a branch, call center or retail environment may be substituted for Loan Servicing experience
  • Working knowledge of CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases
  • Mortgage lending experience at a financial institution is preferred
  • Knowledge of DNA and Nautilus Imaging Software preferred
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to use discretion in your work
  • Must have the ability to work M-F 8:00 am-4:30 pm
