Overview
The Indirect Processing Team Lead's primary purpose is to guide and supervise the Indirect Lending Loan Processors in such a way as to provide the membership with accurate, efficient and professional service in a sensitive and understanding style, in writing, via email and Internet, and over the telephone. The Team Lead serves as the focal point for questions and problems encountered by Indirect Lending Loan Processors and Underwriters. The Team Lead reviews the work of the Indirect Lending Loan Processors on a regular basis and is able to perform all duties of their positions. The Team Lead will work with Underwriters and dealership contacts to resolve outstanding issues.

Responsibilities
- Train and provide first level supervision to Indirect Processing staff
- Assign, direct, coordinate and review work performed by staff
- Assist the Indirect Processing Manager to develop each employee to their highest potential by identifying areas for improvement, appropriately coaching and/or training for improved employee performance
- Provides technical, instructional and operational support to the Indirect Processing staff. Plans and organizes work, assigns tasks and performs all supervisory personnel management functions.
- Make decisions and exceptions in the absence of the Indirect Processing Manager
- Resolves more complex problems and assists Indirect Loan Processors with problem identification and resolution
- Serve as a system administrator for Dealertrack, RouteOne, and MeridianLink platforms
- Responsible for Performance Evaluations of their assigned team members
- Responsible for training, coordinating and system operations of the Indirect Processing department
- Prepare assignment rotations, approves leave requests, and schedules training
- Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Qualifications
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years previous loan officer or financial institution experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a high production area
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in consumer lending preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with MeridianLink, Fiserv, DNA, ePort credit reporting, and LexisNexis preferred
