Our client in the CPA firm industry is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department. The Outsourced Accounting Manager will serve as the Controller/CFO for privately held for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. If this sounds like you, we are looking for someone with experience preparing annual audit schedules and analysis and timely filing of tax returns.

Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must be able to:
- Ability to perform and manage full cycle accounting needs up to and including financial statements
- Ensure timely communication as to project status both internally and externally
- Balance multiple engagements with varying deadlines
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the accounting operations within the organization
- Obtain a working knowledge of accounting software packages
- Perform month end close process.
- Prepare monthly bank and /or investment account reconciliations
- Maintain fixed assets schedule
- Prepare various general ledger account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for the client by the agreed upon deadline
- Train and oversee staff assigned to the engagements and train staff accountants and bookkeepers with the month end close process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5 - 8 years' experience as a Controller or the equivalent
- CPA license
- Comprehensive knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and issues as well as a good understanding of non-profit tax issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Accounting software experience with Quickbooks, Deltek and Creative Solutions Accounting
