Classical Bass Adjunct Faculty The George Mason University, Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music, seeks a part-time artist faculty member in Classical Bass starting August 2022. Responsibilities:Teach Applied Bass;Provide leadership to Mason's Classical Bass Studio, to include coordination of studio classes, as well as on-campus and off-campus performances and events;Coordinate recruitment for the Classical Bass Studio;Coordinate recitals and juries for the Classical Bass Studio; andParticipate in the Strings Area initiatives, including performances, faculty recitals, etc.Required Qualifications:Master's Degree in Music;Successful experience teaching college level;Ability to work with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds; andEstablished reputation as a Classical Bassist including live performance and recordings.Preferred Qualifications:Doctorate in Music.
