Principal Learning Program Manager

Capital One Learning & Development team is seeking a Learning Program Manager. As a Learning Program Manager, you'll be part of a team responsible for designing, developing and implementing engaging learning experiences and solutions that will fuel our growth as a Tech company and help our associates develop cutting-edge skills. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring this cohort-based learning experience maintains it's high participant scores and best-in-class reputation. You will also execute multiple cohorts with end-to-end project tasks and manage critical stakeholder and external vendor relationships. Additional support of other leadership programs will happen on an adhoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the program & interface with learners, managers, stakeholders
  • Oversee recurring program activities and design new activities to engage new audiences
  • Grow and scale the program to multiple cohorts per year
  • Expand training curriculum to new modalities and learners by expanding learner personas, learning objectives, and experience maps
  • Create and maintain the curriculum plan and roadmap in partnership with a curriculum lead
  • Create and maintain the syllabus/ learner schedule in partnership with a curriculum lead
  • Ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline learner experiences
  • Synthesize training/learner data and feedback and refine curriculum as necessary


The ideal candidate for this role will:
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 1 year of client consulting experience



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 2 years of client consulting experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience creating technical curriculum
  • Experience using learning technologies such as Enterprise LMS, social learning platforms, or online learning content providers
