Bolton Hill Nursery (BHN) is hiring full-time TEACHERS for the summer and school year 2022-2023, start date July 1 or August 1, 2022. Candidates should be culturally competent lifelong learners; 3-5 years of experience working in a preschool, early childhood or child care center environment is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is highly recommended, though not required. If not currently holding State of Maryland 90 Hours Child Care certification, staff hired will pursue this Certificate (paid for by BHN) within the first six months of employment.
Medical and retirement benefits, overtime pay for more than 40 hours of work per week and significant amounts of paid time off are offered to all full-time employees at BHN, as well as six weeks of paid parental leave and 50% tuition remission for staff children. A limited number of school-year-only contracts are available.
Annualized teacher salaries range from $39,520 - $49,920 ($19-$24/hour). Salaries offered will be commensurate with experience and will greatly exceed the average salary for childcare center employees in the Baltimore region.
A signing bonus of up to $1000 will be paid at the end of the first month of employment.
