The Institute of International Finance (IIF) is one of the world’s largest global associations of financial institutions with member firms in more than 75 countries. The Institute currently seeks a Program Assistant to support the Executive Vice President, Research and Policy (EVPRP). The Program Assistant will manage the EVPRP’s calendar and travel, coordinate meetings and conference calls, and provide both administrative and program support to the EVPRP and, as needed, to the departments that he oversees. This staff member will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Serve as assistant to the EVPRP (maintain complex calendar across time zones; book domestic and international travel; develop detailed itineraries for meetings and travel; complete expense reports; manage correspondence and deadlines; respond to requests from other departments and administrative staff)
- Provide researach support to the EVPRP (conduct research, review, edit and proofreading content for typographical and grammatical errors) as well as verifying facts and figures to ensure accuracy. Draft briefing notes and talking points on a wide range of topics as well as developing research notes on topics. Provide other administrative support to the EVPRP and related departments (coordinate the distribution of correspondence and documents; draft correspondence; organize meetings and conference calls; assist in the preparation of briefings and agendas; update member database)
IIF is pleased to provide its staff with a hybrid work environment: staff members are required to work in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays but have the option of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Applicants should have a college degree and at least one year of related work/internship experience. Strong command of the English language and excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment; good organizational skills; the ability to work in a very fast paced, deadline-driven environment; ability to interact with all levels of staff in responding to a wide range of inquiries ability to handle confidential documents. Personal attributes such as a high degree of professionalism, strong organizational skills, the ability to handle confidential documents with discretion and the ability to exercise good judgement under pressure are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Office 365 is required.
