You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic roadmap for Subscriptions through competitive insight, product positioning, and the execution of key launches that push our mission forward. The ideal candidate will be a Marketer & Strategist who is both creative and analytical, can collaborate and influence across a web of partners and stakeholders, and will be a champion for subscription-obsessed growth.

Motivation

  • You are obsessed with understanding consumer needs and how to translate those needs into compelling product messaging and positioning
  • You love a great marketing campaign and stay up-to-date on the newest marketing best practices
  • You have an aptitude for simplifying and communicating complex ideas

Responsibilities
  • Shape the strategic roadmap for Subscriptions including the go-to-market vision and strategy, messaging and positioning, and pricing structure
  • Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, campaign schedule, and media plans in conjunction with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze current performance data, latest business needs, and consumer insights to develop clear and actionable plans
  • Experiment and optimize new marketing, product, messaging, and pricing approaches and channels to engage key audiences
  • Collaborate across product management, UX, and research teams to identify, scope, and execute qualitative and quantitative research to inform product roadmaps and marketing strategies
  • Serve as a thought leader who takes action to drive initiatives forward, develops creative solutions to complex problems, and fosters collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • Partner with audience development to identify new opportunities and develop the go-to-market strategy for those opportunities.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve performance of products after they have launched. Revise product positioning and messaging, launching features, and partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Lead by example demonstrating curiosity, enthusiasm, and collaboration.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer brand, product marketing, or strategy/consulting roles.
  • Consumer technology, B2C subscriptions or membership-based products, media, or consulting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related or similar field. MBA or advanced business-related degree preferred.
  • Ability to work successfully in a quickly changing environment with entrepreneurial and mission driven spirit
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use research, data, and performance metrics to challenge assumptions and gain alignment
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
  • A track-record of proven business results through insights-driven marketing and business strategies supported by a relentless desire to test, experiment, and optimize.
