White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) for our 5N Medical/Surgical & Dialysis Unit , who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Nurse Manager, you will:
•Directly report to the Director and is responsible for operationalizing the strategic plan for their department
•Be responsible for ensuring the assessment, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care.
•Facilitate, mentor and evaluate others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.
•Assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources are available.
•Demonstrate professionalism at all times and will uphold standards of practice by holding team members accountable for continued compliance in accordance with organizational goals and nursing mission and vision.
Qualifications include:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred.
• Valid Maryland RN license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required
• 3 years of current ICU experience or related acute care experience required, Supervisory experience preferred. Certification in Leadership with 1 year of eligibility. Participation on Professional Organizations.
